Rocklahoma 2008 Festival Coverage

Rocklahoma 2008 Festival coverage is underway. The shoot was challenging with constantly changing weather conditions (rain, clouds, dark clouds, normal dawn to dusk sun movement, a very crowded photo pit, active and still artists, and set to set lighting changes. The D300 performed admirably under these conditions and never broke a sweat though the photog stayed pretty anxious shooting for the first time in all manual.

Day 5 Featured the best lineup for me personally of the 5 day festival and included numerous classic and 80's rock acts I have not had the pleasure of seeing perform live (Axe, Zebra, Steelheart, Tesla) and closed with a Queensryche theatrical performance of Operation Mindcrime followed by a short "best of" setlist.
