Along with Halcyon Way, Eclipsed by Sanity is one of my favorite local subjects.
EBS are young, hungry, and eager to pay their dues at full sticker price; they have no interest in unearned hype or praise. Add a touch of Spinal Tap drama -- singer's departure and return, guitarist health scare -- all at the ripe young age of under-21 for all. The hard work is paying off in victories and opportunities.
To paraphrase a music critic from another era: I have seen the future of true metal in Atlanta and beyond. Its name is Eclipsed by Sanity.
